The University of Toledo women’s basketball team picked up a big win over Mid-American Conference West foe Western Michigan on Wednesday in Kalamazoo.
Both teams were 5-4 in the MAC coming into the game and with the win, Toledo moves to 6-4 and is in third place in the MAC West behind Central Michigan (9-0) and Ball State (7-3).
If the MAC tournament started today, Toledo would be a No. 4 seed.
The Rockets have a tough 3-game stretch coming up as they play at home against MAC East leader Buffalo on Saturday and then head back on the road for games at Miami and at Central Michigan.
