ANN ARBOR, Mich. – and each won distance events to lead the Toledo women's track & field at Michigan's Wolverine Invitational on Saturday. Nicholson won the mile and took seventh in the 800m, while Henriksen won the 3,000m with the second-best time in school history.
Nicholson opened the new year with an seventh-place finish in the 800m with a time of 2:12.06, which ranks No.6 in UT indoor track & field history. She followed that performance with a first-place finish in the mile, clocked in at 4:41.74, which is the fourth-best time in UT indoor history.
Henriksen made a statement in the 3,000m race, taking the crown with a time of 9:21.
