Honolulu, HI – Toledo (7-12) is the Mahilini Kipa Aloha Tournament Champion after defeating Seattle U (5-14), 6-2, on Sunday afternoon at the Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Midnight Blue & Gold advanced to the championship game after besting Charleston Southern (10-13), 7-5, in the semifinals earlier the same day.
Sophomore Kailey Minarchick (3-4) was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Pitcher after collecting two wins and one save. Senior 2B Chandler Rice, senior C Ashley Maynard and junior OF Ashley Rausch were named to the all-tournament team for their efforts over the weekend.
