The University of Toledo football team defeated Western Michigan 37-10 on Friday at the Glass Bowl and earned a Mid-American Conference West title and a trip to the MAC championship game for the first time since 2004.
Logan Woodside passed for 300 yards and two touchdowns and Terry Swanson carried 21 times for 94 yards and a TD, while Shakif Seymour added 54 rushing yards and another score.
Jameson Vest got the scoring started for Toledo with a 33-yard field goal with 2:12 left in the first quarter.
Swanson then finished off a long 5-play, 91-yard drive with a 13-yard touchdown run.
