Indianapolis, Ind.— The Toledo women's swimming and diving team won 10 events on Friday en route to a 166-128 dual meet victory over IUPUI.
"I'm very happy with the meet today," head coach Jonas Persson said. "The girls stepped up and raced hard, and got the points needed for us to win. A lot of the swimmers that have had a rough couple of meets in January stepped up and showed that they are back."
Individually, Bec Welke led the way with two event victories. The sophomore placed first in both breaststroke events, winning the 100-yard variety with a time of 1:05.
