Toledo, Ohio— The Toledo baseball team played its first home game at Scott Park in over three weeks on Wednesday, falling to Butler by a score of 8-3.
Butler led 6-0 at one point in the game, and the Rockets were unable to overcome the early deficit. Freshman was a bright spot at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs. Fellow freshman also had two hits on the afternoon. Six pitchers saw time for Toledo, with senior making his first career start.
Toledo hosts MAC foe Northern Illinois this weekend, its final home conference series of the season.
