• Toledo (8-5) opens its 77th Mid-American Conference campaign on Tuesday, Jan. 2 when it visits East Division foe Buffalo (8-5). Tip-off time from Alumni Arena is set for 7:00 p.m. with the game being televised nationally on the CBS Sports Network. Following Tuesday's contest, the Rockets will host Akron (7-5) on Friday, Jan. 5 in another contest being televised by the CBS Sports Network.
