TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo tied a school record on Tuesday night with 17 three-point field goals in a 96-63 triumph over Eastern Michigan in Savage Arena. The victory extended the Rockets' winning streak to eight games and gave them an 11-3 overall record and a 6-0 Mid-American Conference mark.
Sophomore Keshaun Saunders paced a balanced Toledo attack with a career-high 20 points. He knocked down 5-of-6 three-point attempts, grabbed five rebounds and dished out four assists.
Seniors Spencer Littleson and Marreon Jackson buried five triples as well and finished with 19 and 17 points, respectively.
