The past year hasn’t gone according to plan for Anthony Torres.
And that’s just fine for the 24-year-old University of Toledo tight end.
Torres entered fall camp last year expecting 2023 to be his final season of college football. But a series of events, beginning with Lenny Kuhl’s injury in August, brought Torres back for one more year.
“I made that decision after the MAC championship,” said Torres, who already has an accounting degree and an MBA. “It had been something that I was pondering talking to coach [Jason] Candle and to my position coach, coach [Mark] Staten.
