CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Toledo men's tennis team swept Mid-American Conference weekly honors on Monday. Junior Matias Olivero was named Singles Player of the Week, while Hanamichi Carvajal and Poonthong Komolpisut were tabbed Doubles Team of the Week after the Rockets claimed a 4-3 win over No. 70 Buffalo on Saturday.
Olivero recorded a comeback 6-7 (3-7), 6-3, 7-5 win in the decisive third set on the No. 3 singles court to help Toledo clinch its first conference win of the season. Olivero faced a 5-1 deficit in the third set and came back to tie the set, 5-5.
