TOLEDO, Ohio – Junior scored a team-high 27 points, but it wasn't enough for the Toledo men's basketball team in a 75-72 loss to Northern Illinois (10-18, 4-11 MAC) on Tuesday night in Savage Arena. The defeat deprived the Rockets (17-11, 11-4 MAC) of an opportunity to move into a first-place tie in the Mid-American Conference standings with Akron (20-8, 12-3 MAC) following the Zips' 74-67 setback tonight at Ohio.
"That was a tough loss for us tonight," Head Coach said. "We talk a great deal about how everyone in the MAC has guys that can beat you, and David Coit is a guy that can do that.
