Richmond, Va.— The Toledo baseball team dropped its Saturday afternoon contest at the University of Richmond, falling 6-4 to the Spiders.
UT's only offense came off the bat of senior Brad Boss, who drove in all four runs with a second-inning grand slam. Richmond scored twice in the third to pull within one, then plated two runs in the seventh to take the lead for good. An insurance run for UR in the bottom of the eighth brought the final score to 6-4.
Boss produced all of Toledo's offense, collecting a game-high three hits in the process.
