BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Toledo baseball team split its doubleheader at Bowling Green on Saturday, winning game one by a score of 6-1 before dropping the second game, 7-6.
With their win in the first game, the Rockets (27-18, 18-12 MAC) set a new program record with their 12th consecutive win. The 12-game winning streak is the longest in school history, topping the 11-game winning streak by the 2011 squad.
"We played really good baseball in game one," head coach Rob Reinstetle said. "Kyle Jones had another dominant start and Cal McAninch was good in relief.
