Rochester, Mich. - The Toledo softball team (15-20, 4-4 MAC) swept Oakland (10-22, 3-8 Horizon) in a nonconference doubleheader today, outhiting the competition 22-8 to claim 10-2 and 2-0 victories. The wins helped UT establish a four-game winning streak and were largely the result of a strong offensive outing from sophomore Morgan Paaverud, who knocked in a three-run homer while going 6-for-7 with five RBIs and two runs.
The Rockets also extended their streak of scoring first to six games today thanks to senior Kaitlyn Bergman who was responsible for the first run of both games today.
