KENT, Ohio – The Toledo women's soccer team nearly pulled off a comeback win with two goals in the second half, but Kent State scored the final game-tying goal with 23 seconds on the clock to end the match in a 2-2 draw at Kent on Sunday.
"I feel for our team today," head coach TJ Buchholz said. "They did everything right to get a win and it didn't happen. Credit to Kent State for making a play at the end to tie it up. It is always hard to accept losing the lead at the end, but we did grab a point on the road.
