The running game for the University of Toledo football team has steadily progressed as the season has gone along.
Early in the season, quarterback Mitch Guadagni consistently led the team in rushing. While Guadagni has battled injuries off and on all season, the traditional rushing attack has slowly gotten going, led by a trio of backs.
Shakif Seymour is the starter, while Art Thompkins is the change-of-pace back. But the runner who has really emerged is redshirt freshman Bryant Koback out of Springfield High School.
