TOLEDO, Ohio - Toledo bested Indiana State in a 1-0 final score Friday night (Sept. 10) at Paul Hotmer Field. Senior Claire Cahalan logged the game-winning shot for the Rockets, the first score of her collegiate career.
Sophomore Emma Boutorwick tallied yet another shutout in goal for the Rockets, her third straight and fifth overall of the season.
"I am proud that our team found a way to break through Indiana State's stingy defense," said Head Coach T.J. Buchholz. "We had good chances throughout the game, but they came up with some big defensive plays.
