Toledo redshirt freshman quarterback Carter Bradley will make his first career start Saturday at Ball State.
Usual starter Mitch Guadagni was not dressed for the game. Both Bradley and Guadagni were injured in Toledo's loss at Bowling Green last week.
Bradley, a three-star recruit from Jacksonville, Fla., has played in three games this season and is 11 of 26 passing for 159 yards with a touchdown and an interception.
