It’s unsurprising junior running back Bryant Koback is Toledo’s top rusher this season — after all, he led the Rockets’ ground attack each of the last two years.
But through two contests in 2020, Koback has also proved he can be a threat in the passing game and leads the team with 11 receptions and 111 yards.
To put that into perspective, over his first two seasons, he had a combined 12 receptions for 92 yards with two scores.
“In the past as you look at the stats, I wasn't used too much in the receiving game,” Koback said.
