Toledo quarterback Dequan Finn will return Tuesday night against Ball State, head coach Jason Candle told The Blade.
Finn, one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the country, missed UT’s last game, a victory at Eastern Michigan in which backup QB Tucker Gleason led a game-winning drive in the final minutes.
Finn has completed 59.9 percent of his passes for 1,637 yards, with 18 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He has ran for an additional 520 yards and eight touchdowns on 85 carries, an average of more than six yards per rush.
If Toledo beats Ball State Tuesday and Western Michigan loses to Northern Illinois on Wednesday, the Rockets clinch the Mid-American Conference West Division championship.
