YPSILANTI, Mich. — Tucker Gleason is in line for his first career start on Saturday.
Toledo head coach Jason Candle informed The Blade that starting quarterback Dequan Finn is out.
It’s unknown how long Finn won’t be able to play after suffering an injury on the final play of last week’s loss at Buffalo. He spent the week in a sling on his right throwing shoulder.
“Tucker’s been in our program and he understands what we want to accomplish,” Candle said Monday.
Gleason, who transferred to UT from Georgia Tech prior to the 2021 season, is 6 of 13 for 67 yards, with one touchdown and zero interceptions this season.
