TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's tennis team concluded the Rocket Invite on Saturday afternoon, closing out their first fall tournament of the season with wins in eight of the final day's nine matches.
The Rockets' eight victories included wins in all five three-set matches. The team combined for an overall record of 22-15 during the two-day tournament.
Toledo went head-to-head in singles and doubles play with familiar foes DePaul, Michigan State and Youngstown State at the UT Varsity Courts and Twos Athletic Club.
"I was so impressed at the way this young squad competed this weekend," said head coach Tracy Mauntler.
