HOWIE-IN-THE-HILLS, FL – Toledo finished in ninth place at the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular on Sunday. The two-day tournament took place at the El Campeón Course (Par-72, 6,966 Yards) at the Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort and was hosted by George Mason University.
The Rockets fired rounds of 294, 290 and 317 over the course of the last two days and trailed team champion No. 18 South Florida (288-280-280=949) by 52 strokes. The Midnight Blue & Gold also finished first among two Mid-American Conference teams, topping Ohio (308-315-299) who tied for 13th place at 58-over par 922.
