MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — The University of Toledo men’s basketball team topped Central Michigan 80-68 on Saturday afternoon at McGuirk Arena.
With the win, the Rockets clinch a top-four finish in the Mid-American Conference and a bye to the quarterfinals of the tournament in Cleveland.
Jaelan Sanford and Luke Knapke led Toledo (23-6, 11-5 MAC) with 19 points each, and Marreon Jackson added 18 points.
Shawn Roundtree, Jr., led Central Michigan (20-9, 9-7 MAC) with 22 points, Larry Austin Jr. added 20 points, and Dallas Morgan added 13.
