Each week, The Blade will recap the most interesting Toledo football grades released by Pro Football Focus, the scouting website that evaluates players’ performance on every play of every game. For context, grades are based on a 0-100 scale.
Tucker Gleason (70.0 offense): In his first game as the unequivocal starting quarterback, Gleason completed 15 of 24 passes for 202 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions. His only real issue was overthrowing a few deep balls, an easily correctable mistake. His offensive grade of 70.0 was third-highest among players with at least 30 snaps.
