NASSAU, Bahamas — Tod Kowalczyk is going to have to check with Delta about its carry-on policy because the Toledo men’s basketball team is coming home with some hardware.
The Rockets overcame a horrendous start, falling behind 26-7 in the first half on 3-of-18 shooting in the opening 10 minutes, to topple Coastal Carolina 79-70 in the Baha Mar Nassau Championship title game.
The comeback was spearheaded by Ryan Rollins, who scored a career-high 35 points on 12-of-20 shooting, including four of five from 3-point range.
