Toledo native Chris Darrington has decided to transfer to the University of Toledo men’s basketball program after spending last season with the Tennessee Volunteers.
Darrington played in 25 games for Tennessee last season in his only year with the Vols, averaging 2.6 points per game in just 8.4 minutes per game.
“I just wanted to come back and finish my college career playing for my city,” Darrington said. “I’m very excited to come back to Toledo. They treated me with class throughout the recruiting process and hopefully we can bring a MAC championship to Toledo.”
The former Scott High School standout played junior college basketball at Vincennes University in Indiana after graduating from high school.
