Toledo football coach Jason Candle and Middle Tennessee State coach Rick Stockstill have seen what the Bahamas Bowl has to offer: white sand beaches, some of the clearest ocean water in the world, and first-class hospitality.
The Rockets and Blue Raiders are each making their second appearance in the postseason game. And it won’t simply be a vacation.
Ending a season with its share of disappointment with a win is at the top of the list, ahead of getting a suntan and enjoying water slides.
“We’re really excited, and our players are energized about attending this game and playing a really nice Toledo football team,” Stockstill said during a teleconference on Wednesday.
