Toledo finally has a full heart on Valentine’s Day.
For the first time since 1976 — a stretch of 13 games — the Rockets won on Feb. 14.
And that wasn’t the only streak associated with UT’s 89-71 victory over Miami. The nation’s third-longest winning streak grew to 10 games, and Toledo’s impossible-to-believe ownership of Miami was extended to 19 games.
But someone will have to remind Tod Kowalczyk that the Rockets haven’t lost since Jan. 10.
“I don’t know anything about that, to be honest with you,” he said. “It’s all about keeping focused.
