YPSILANTI, Mich. — After riding a five-game winning streak that extended from the end of January into February, the University of Toledo men’s basketball team dropped its second straight Mid-American Conference game Saturday, falling 80-73 on the road at Eastern Michigan.
Toledo (15-10, 8-4 MAC) also suffered a 92-80 defeat at Miami (Ohio) four days prior.
Eastern Michigan (12-13, 5-7) maintained a double-digit advantage for a majority of the first half and carried a 43-33 edge into the locker room at halftime. However, the visiting Rockets did outscore the Eagles 40-37 out of the break.
The Eagles were led by a game-high 38 points on 15-of-17 shooting from Jalen Terry.
