The University of Toledo men’s basketball team stormed back from a double-digit second-half deficit for an 87-78 win over Louisiana on Saturday night at Savage Arena.
The Rockets trailed by as many as 16 points in the second half but worked all the way back for a victory against an NCAA tournament team from last season.
Tyler Cochran led the way for Toledo (2-0) with 18 points, including 14 in the second half. Ra’Heim Moss and Sonny Wilson added 16 points each for the Rockets.
Cochran did a little bit of everything in keying the second-half surge for Toledo.
