KANSAS CITY — The University of Toledo men’s basketball team’s five-game winning streak was snapped Tuesday, as the Rockets fell to the University of Missouri-Kansas City 72-57 at the Swinney Center.
Willie Jackson scored 14 points and pulled in a game-high 15 rebounds to lead the Rockets (8-3). Luke Knapke scored 13 points and grabbed four boards.
Four players scored in double digits for Kansas City (6-7). Brandon McKissic led the Kangaroos with 18 points. Rob Whitfield posted 16 points while playing a game-high 35 minutes. Javan White posted a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Marvin Nesbitt, Jr.
