The University of Toledo men’s basketball team claimed a 101-75 victory over Bowling Green State University in a Mid-American Conference game played in front of 6,812 at Savage Arena Saturday.
The Rockets improved to 15-6 overall and 7-1 in the MAC with their seventh straight victory. Tre’Shaun Fletcher led the way with 26 points, while Nate Navigato scored 17 and both Jaelan Sanford and Luke Knapke each had 14.
The Falcons (12-9, 3-5 MAC) have now lost eight of the last nine games in this series despite having five players score in double figures. Dylan Frye, Derek Koch and Justin Turner had 13 points apiece, while Antwon Lillard and Daeqwon Plowden each had 11.
