Toledo is back in first place in the Mid-American Conference.
In front of a raucous home crowd Tuesday, the Rockets’ men’s basketball team knocked Ohio down a peg in a wire-to-wire 77-62 victory. The win marked a sweep of the Bobcats, who now trail UT by a half-game in the MAC standings.
“It was a really good win,” Toledo coach Tod Kowalczyk said. “Two good teams that played well tonight. Great home atmosphere.
“I thought our defense was probably the difference. We defended, start to finish.”
The sequel was as good as the original for the Rockets.
