PHILADELPHIA – The University of Toledo men’s basketball team topped Penn 85-72 on Friday afternoon at the Palestra and stretched its win streak to three games.
Senior Tre’Shaun Fletcher paced the Rockets (8-5) with 21 points, while junior Jaelan Sanford added 19 points. Junior Nate Navigato chipped in with 14 points and freshman Marreon Jackson had 12 points.
Ryan Betley paced Penn (9-5) with 20 points, Darnell Foreman scored 16 points, and Max Rothschild added 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Penn led 37-33 at halftime and Toledo outscored the Quakers 52-35 in the second half to claim a big road win.
