After an upset loss to Kent State in the first round of the Mid-American Conference tournament, the University of Toledo women’s basketball practiced and stayed fresh, waiting for a potential postseason opportunity knowing nothing was guaranteed.
It was an anxious week that ended with the news Monday night that the Rockets made the 64-team field for the WNIT and will host Wright State on Friday night at Savage Arena.
“That was kind of tough,” UT senior Jada Woody said of last week.
