For the University of Toledo football team, having players selected in the NFL draft is nothing new. In 2017, the Rockets tied a school record with three players — running back Kareem Hunt (third round), tight end Michael Roberts (fourth round) and defensive tackle Treyvon Hester (seventh round) — hearing their names called.
Last year, quarterback Logan Woodside continued the recent run when he was picked in the seventh round by the Cincinnati Bengals.
With the NFL draft starting Thursday night and running through Saturday, Toledo could have up to four players taken, three of them at wide receiver.
