Toledo, Ohio – Senior center led three Rockets in double figures with 16 points as Toledo rallied to defeat defending MAC champion Central Michigan, 62-59, at Savage Arena Wednesday night.
CMU led by as many as 10 points in the first half but the Rockets outscored the Chippewas, 21-10, in the third quarter, and then staved off a late rally to win their third straight game. CMU missed three shots in the final 12 seconds, including a desperation heave that would have tied the game.
Joining McIntyre in double figures for Toledo (12-5, 4-2 MAC) was sophomore guard (15 points) and senior guard (13).
