MANHATTAN, Kan. – Sophomore Angel Hii carded a one-over par 73 in the first round to lead the Toledo women's golf team on Monday at Kansas State's Marilynn Smith/Sunflower Invitational. The Rockets are in 10th place in the team standings in the tournament being played at the par-72, 6,221-yard Colbert Hills Golf Club.
Hii registered one birdie and two bogeys in her first 18 holes and is tied for 31st place in the individual standings after 36 holes at nine-over par 153.
Junior Amelia Lee posted identical rounds of 81 and is tied for 52nd place at 162.
