FORT COLLINS, Colo. — A choppy, penalty-filled first half gave way to a scoring outburst out of halftime as the University of Toledo outlasted Colorado State 41-35 on Saturday night at Canvas Stadium.
The second half quickly turned into the Bryant Koback show as he took runs of 37, 75, and 47 yards for touchdowns on the first three possessions of the third quarter.
By the end of the game, Koback carried the ball 19 times for a career-high 228 yards and three touchdowns while he also caught an 8-yard TD pass.
Toledo quarterback Mitch Guadagni finished the game 6-of-16 for 111 yards and a touchdown pass and carried the ball 12 times for 19 yards and a score.
