The University of Toledo men’s basketball team topped Akron 67-65 on Friday night at Savage Arena.
Jaelan Sanford poured in 22 points to lead the Rockets (9-6, 1-1 MAC). Tre’Shaun Fletcher added 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Daniel Utomi paced Akron (7-7, 0-2 MAC) with 19 points and Eric Parrish had 17 points.
