PORT CLINTON, Ohio – The Toledo women's golf team has three individuals in the Top 10 and sits in first place following Monday's first two rounds of the Rocket Classic. The Rockets' 36-hole total of 601 at the Catawba Island Club leads second-place Akron by four shots and Purdue Fort Wayne, Ohio and Central Michigan by 10 strokes.
Redshirt freshman Valeria Lizcano is leading the way for the Rockets and tied for second place at four-over par 148 (72-76) at the Catawba Island Club. She played a nearly flawless opening round with one par and one bogey.
