TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo has hired Ginny Boggess (BOG-is) as the 10th head women's basketball coach in program history, Vice President and Director of Athletics Bryan B. Blair announced today.
Boggess comes to the Glass City after serving the previous three seasons as the head coach at Monmouth University, where she inherited a two-win team and coached them to a NCAA tournament appearance in just her second season at the helm. Boggess led the Hawks to their first 20-win campaign in 13 years this past season and finished one victory shy of the program record.
