Former Toledo running back Terry Swanson is back on campus.
This time as UT’s director of player development.
“It’s the opportunity of a lifetime for me to come back to my alma mater and help our players develop as young men,” Swanson said. “I look forward to helping them achieve their goals as football players and as students, and to also help them prepare to pursue their dreams after graduation.”
Head coach Jason Candle made the announcement Wednesday, welcoming the former Rocket back after a stint in the NFL and CFL. Swanson, a two-time All-Mid-American Conference selection, rushed for 3,601 yards — fourth-most in program history — from 2014 to 2017.
