Toledo halts losing streak with 37-34 overtime win over Eastern Michigan

The University of Toledo football team lost a 21-point third quarter lead but rebounded for a 37-34 overtime win over Eastern Michigan on Saturday at the Glass Bowl.

After holding Eastern Michigan to a field goal on the first overtime possession, Toledo quarterback Eli Peters found Drew Rosi for a 15-yard touchdown pass on third down to win the game.

The Rockets scored touchdowns on their first three possessions of the second half to take a 31-10 lead with 9:21 left in the third, but Eastern Michigan responded with the final 21 points of regulation. The Eagles recovered a late fumble by Shakif Seymour, but kicker Chad Ryland missed a potential game-winning field goal from 33 yards out.
