LEESBURG, Fla. – Toledo endured a long day on its second day of competition at The Spring Games on Saturday, but it was well worth the wait as the Rockets (6-3) posted a 5-4 victory over North Dakota and an 8-0 (5 inn.) blanking of South Dakota.
"It was a long day for us but a really good one," said Head Coach Joe Abraham after his squad sat through a nearly seven-hour rain delay in its first game. "We were in a bit of a rough spot against North Dakota trailing 2-0 in the first and they had a runner on and no outs before the game was stopped.
