TOLEDO, OH – Toledo men's tennis slipped by with a 4-3 home victory over Detroit on Friday evening. The Rockets improve to a record of 3-5, while Detroit falls to 2-6.
Toledo began the night with a clean sweep in doubles. Stjepan Sisko and Luka Vitosevic won a quick match, 6-1, at the No. 1 spot, while Omar Espinosa and Juan Carranza quickly followed with a 6-2 victory at No. 2. Freshmen tag-team Serjen Olmedo and Vince Anzalone were about to come away with a victory of their own before the refs called it quits.
