Mid-American Conference football returns Nov. 4 for a six-week sprint, and Dr. Roger Kruse is a major reason why.
The University of Toledo football team’s physician is also chair of the MAC’s medical advisory group, which recommended the conference returned to action after widespread “point of care” testing for the coronavirus became readily available.
“I am happy to recommend the return of Mid-American Conference Football,” Kruse said as the conference announced its return. “This was made possible by the ability to obtain rapid ‘point of care’ testing. We will test four times a week to assure player safety.
