The University of Toledo football team returned to the practice field for their fourth session Tuesday after taking a week off for spring break.
The brief time away didn’t appear to stall the Rockets’ progress under new head coach Jason Candle.
The tempo was brisk inside UT’s Fetterman Training Center as the Rockets engaged in their first contact drills of the spring.
“It’s been great energy,” said Candle of the session inside the warm, dimly lit indoor field. Candle served as the Rockets offensive coordinator before he was named head coach on Dec. 2, 2015.
