Rick Martin is thrilled to answer questions about dynamic three-star running back Shawn Simeon, who signed with the University of Toledo on Wednesday.
Just don’t expect to hear much about what Simeon does on the football field. First, it takes Martin, the head coach at Naples High School in Florida, 10 minutes to cycle through stories about Simeon’s off-the-field accomplishments.
“Just recently, he was awarded the Do the Right Thing Award for breaking up a fight and protecting a teacher in a classroom from getting beat up,” Martin said. “And he had no dog in the fight.
